Taliou Anna is a Pediatrician with specialized training in Pediatric Endocrinology and runs a private practice in Ilion. She has significant clinical experience and serves as a scientific collaborator at the Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia," the Child Health Institute, and the Pediatric Clinic "MITERA." She studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After obtaining her Pediatrics specialty certification, she continued to work in a paid position at the Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes Unit of the Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia," where she actively participated in the daily operations of the department and clinic, as well as in the on-call schedule of the hospital's Emergency Department. During this period, she gained specialized clinical experience in Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology. As part of her involvement in the ENDORSE research program, she remained an active member of the daily operations of the Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes Unit of the 1st Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens. Finally, since 2021, she has held a paid position at the Child Health Institute, where, in collaboration with the Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes Unit of the 1st Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens, she is responsible for the diagnosis, initiation, and adjustment of treatment, as well as the clinical follow-up of children with Congenital Hypothyroidism and the monitoring of their associated endocrine disorders.
