Fafoula Olga MRCPCH is a Pediatric Endocrinologist - Chief Consultant and maintains a private practice in Ilioupoli. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed full Pediatric specialty training and worked as a Registrar in the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2005. She specialized in Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology at leading reference centers in England, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, UCL Hospital London, and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She holds the rank of Chief Consultant and since 2011 has been Head of the Pediatric Endocrinology Department at Penteli General Children’s Hospital. She possesses fully and officially recognized subspecialties in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (recognized by the National Organization for Healthcare Services Provision - KESY) and participates as an examiner in the respective specialization examinations. She has served as a board member of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology. She has extensive and active participation in numerous Greek and international conferences, frequently contributing as a speaker and moderator. Concurrently, she carries out ongoing educational work with pediatric trainees and medical students. She is responsible for and coordinator of the Greek arm of a European multicenter study on childhood obesity.

Mpakopoulou Ioanna is a Pediatrician specializing in Pediatric Endocrinology and maintains a private practice in Kaisariani. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and initially specialized in Pediatrics at the General Hospital of Heraklion, Crete “Venizeleio” and subsequently at the University Clinic of Democritus University of Thrace. Additionally, she trained in Pediatric Endocrinology in a salaried Medical Officer position at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia, Cyprus from 2003 to 2005. Since 2005, she has been a member, following evaluation, of the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and an associate member of the Hellenic Endocrine Society. She has worked as Registrar at the General Hospital of Xanthi, where she established the first pediatric endocrinology clinic in Thrace. Later, she worked in the Department of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes at the 1st Pediatric Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at the General Children’s Hospital “Agia Sophia,” under Professor G. Chrousos, where she participated in the training program for medical students and pediatric and adult endocrinology residents. In 2014, she retired as an NHS Director and from 2015 worked as a Pediatric Endocrinologist at the Commission International Accredited Dr. Sulaiman al Habib Hospital, with a capacity of 360 beds. She actively participated in resident training programs in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia, delivering numerous lectures and seminars. Since 2020, she has been a scientific collaborator at IIBEAA, in the Pediatric and Adolescent Overweight Clinic, within the Unit of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes of the 1st Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens at the General Children’s Hospital “Agia Sophia,” as a member of Professor E. Harmandari’s team.

Η Σοφία-Άννα Τυπάλδου είναι Παιδοψυχίατρος - Ψυχοθεραπεύτρια Παιδιών και Εφήβων. Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή Θεσσαλίας, στη Λάρισα. Εκπλήρωσε την υπηρεσία υπαίθρου στο Κ.Υ. Φαρσάλων. Kefalidou Euthymia is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist and maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with specialization in Pediatric Otolaryngology as well as in Allergy. She received further training in Endoscopic Surgery at Prince Albert Hospital in Canada, and since 2002, she has annually attended postgraduate courses in Space and Quantum Medicine at the Energy University of Moscow. With her knowledge and experience, she is capable of diagnosing and treating conditions such as allergic rhinitis, tonsillitis, asthma, otitis media, airway problems, hay fever, and Down syndrome. Ο Παπαδημητρίου Δημήτρης Θ. γεννήθηκε το 1971 στη Θεσσαλονίκη και μεγάλωσε στην Αθήνα, όπου και αποφοίτησε με άριστα από τη Βαρβάκειο Πρότυπο Σχολή. Πήρε το πτυχίο της Ιατρικής, την Ειδικότητα της Παιδιατρικής και την Διδακτορική του Διατριβή στην Παιδοενδοκρινολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε επί 4ετία στην Παιδιατρική Ενδοκρινολογία. Έλαβε διετές Μεταπτυχιακό (DIU) στην Παιδιατρική Ενδοκρινολογία και Διαβητολογία από το Πανεπιστήμιο Paris V, με κλινική εκπαίδευση στο Πανεπιστημιακό Παιδιατρικό Νοσοκομείο St Vincent de Paul στο Παρίσι. Έλαβε MSc "Research in Female Reproduction" από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Διετέλεσε επίσης Ειδικός Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης, Πανεπιστημιακός και Ακαδημαϊκός Υπότροφος της Γ’ Παιδιατρικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στο Αττικό Νοσοκομείο επί 12 χρόνια (2006-2017). Έχει δημοσιεύσει πάνω από 100 επιστημονικά άρθρα, εκ των οποίων 50 πλήρεις δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή περιοδικά του SCI (indexed in PubMed), εκ των οποίων οι 24 την τελευταία 5ετία, με h-index 16 (5-yr h-index 13), h-10 index 26 (5-yr h-10 index 20) και 966 συνολικές παραθέσεις εκ των οποίων οι 544 από το 2019. Έχει επίσης τουλάχιστον 58 δημοσιευμένα abstracts σε supplements διεθνών περιοδικών εκ των οποίων 50 ανευρίσκονται στο google scholar και 10 είναι indexed στο PubMed Central. Στις 15.05.23 προσεκλήθη από την European Society of Endocrinology να παραδώσει διάλεξη με θέμα ‘Role of Vitamin D in the prevention of T1 and T2 Diabetes’ στο 25th European Congress of Endocrinology, 13 – 16 May 2023, Istanbul, Turkey. Τον Μάϊο του 2023 εξελέγη Επισκέπτης Καθηγητής Νεογνικής - Παιδικής - Εφηβικής Ενδοκρινολογίας και ως επιστέγασμα της Ακαδημαϊκής του διαδρομής, τον Ιούνιο του 2024 εξελέγη Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής Παιδιατρικής, Υπεύθυνος Νεογνικής - Παιδικής - Εφηβικής Ενδοκρινολογίας & Διαβήτη, στο Τμήμα Ιατρικής της Σχολής Επιστημών Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας.

Simopoulou Xara is a Pediatric ENT specialist with a private practice in Keratsini. She holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has extensive professional experience. She began her specialization in the Surgical Clinic at the Anti-Cancer Hospital of Piraeus "Metaxa," continued her training in the ENT Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Athens "Agia Sofia," and completed her specialization in Otolaryngology at the ENT Clinic of the General Hospital of Piraeus "Tzaneio."
