Μηλάκη Γεωργία

Georgia Milaki is an Oncologist, a graduate of the University of Naples Medical School in Italy. She specialized in Pathological Oncology at the University General Hospital of Heraklion. She participated as a clinical researcher and PhD candidate in the Clinical Studies Unit of the Clinical Pathological Oncology Department of the University General Hospital of Heraklion and in the Laboratory of Cancer Biology of the University of Crete Medical School. She specialized in breast cancer at the International European Cancer Centre in Milan, Italy, where she served as a Researcher and University Fellow. For four years, she worked as an attending physician at the Oncology Department of the General Hospital of Heraklion "Venizeleio", and until today she works with private clinics, the Asclepion of Crete and Creta Interclinic. The doctor has a rich teaching, writing, social and cultural work, as well as active participation in international and national scientific conferences and volunteers in health initiatives through several associations and NGOs. She is a member of the Society of Oncological Pathologists of Greece, the European Oncology Society and the American Oncology Society.
