Ιωάννης Τσακιρίδης είναι Επίκουρος Καθηγητής Μαιευτικής – Γυναικολογίας του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, υπηρετεί στη Γ´ Μαιευτική-Γυναικολογική Κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Θεσσαλονίκης «Ιπποκράτειο» και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στην Θεσσαλονίκη. Έχει εξειδικευτεί στην Εμβρυομητρική Ιατρική στο Medway Maritime Hospital, UK.
