Dr Pisimisis Euaggelos is a distinguished Cardiologist with excellent training and extensive experience, operating a private practice in the center of Piraeus. He is an interventional cardiologist and Coordinating Director of the Cardiology Clinic at Tzaneio Hospital of Piraeus. After graduating from the Ionideios Model School of Piraeus, he studied at the Medical School of the University of Athens. He specialized in Cardiology at the Cardiology Clinic of Tzaneio Hospital and received further training with a scholarship from the Hellenic Cardiological Society at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. He holds a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Athens, is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and serves as President of the Panhellenic Medical Society of Cardiology Directors (P.I.E.D.KAR.). He advanced through all levels of hierarchy in the Cardiology Clinic of Tzaneio Hospital and, in 2009, was appointed Coordinating Director following a Health Ministry Council review. He has been recognized for his clinical, organizational, educational, and social contributions both within the medical field and in the community of Piraeus residents. In 2007, he organized and operated the Hemodynamics Laboratory at the General Hospital of Chios, and in 2014, established a similar laboratory at the Cardiology Clinic of the Asklipieio Voula Hospital. Between 2011 and 2014, he served as Vice President of the Scientific Council, and from 2019 to 2021, as Director of Medical Services at Tzaneio Hospital of Piraeus. He participates in several Scientific Committees of the Ministry of Health. He was an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Medical Association (I.S.P.) (2005-2022) and of the Board of Directors of the Athens-Piraeus Hospital Doctors Association (E.I.N.A.P.) (2019-2022). He remains an elected member of the I.S.P. at the Panhellenic Medical Association. He is a member of the Alumni Association of Ionideios Model School of Piraeus, the Arcadians Association of Piraeus, and the Association of Scientists of Piraeus.

Dr. Kolyviras Thanos MD, PhD, FESC is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the 4th Cardiology Clinic - Interventional Cardiology at Metropolitan General Hospital, HHG Group. He holds an official Specialization Title in Interventional Cardiology and specializes in complex coronary artery interventions and the interventional treatment of aortic valve stenosis using the TAVI method. He was admitted through the Panhellenic Examinations to the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2002 and subsequently moved to Brussels (Belgium) in 2009, where he specialized in Cardiology. In September 2016, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Medical School of the University of Athens with honors. He has performed more than 3,000 coronary artery procedures and is an accredited Interventional Cardiologist for the implantation of percutaneous aortic valves using the TAVI method. He has received a Fellowship from the European Society of Cardiology to attend the European Congress in Barcelona (2014), where he was awarded for the best oral presentation. Additionally, in 2020, he obtained certification from the European Association of Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (EAPCI) – Certificate of Excellence and since 2021 he is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He has an extensive authorial and research portfolio, with particular interest and involvement in the education of young colleagues. His future plans focus on clinical research in the fields of interventional cardiology for the treatment primarily of valvular diseases with new transcatheter techniques, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration on specialized topics in interventional cardiology both in Greece and abroad.

Ο Dr med Μπενέτος Γεώργιος MD, MSc, PhD, FESC είναι Καρδιολόγος και Διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στους Αμπελόκηπους. Παράλληλα, είναι Ακαδημαϊκός Υπότροφος της Α’ Πανεπιστημιακής Καρδιολογικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών "Ιπποκράτειο", παρέχοντας ερευνητικό και διδακτικό έργο, Συνεργάτης του ιατρείου Καρδιοογκολογίας της ομώνυμης κλινικής και Υπεύθυνος του τμήματος Cardiac CT (Αξονικής Καρδιάς) της Κλινικής "Λευκός Σταυρός Αθηνών". Για την ερευνητική του δραστηριότητα έχει λάβει σημαντικές υποτροφίες από καταξιωμένες επιστημονικές εταιρείες: το Ελληνικό Ίδρυμα Καρδιολογίας (ΕΛΙΚΑΡ) για διδακτορική έρευνα και την Ελληνική Καρδιολογική Εταιρεία για μετεκπαίδευση σε αναγνωρισμένου κύρους κέντρο εξωτερικού. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στην Κλινική Πυρηνικής Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Ζυρίχης (USZ) σε μη επεμβατικές τεχνικές καρδιαγγειακής απεικόνισης και συγκεκριμένα στην αξονική στεφανιογραφία, το σπινθηρογράφημα και PET καρδιάς (τομογραφία εκπομπής ποζιτρονίων) και σε τεχνικές υβριδικής απεικόνισης/συγκερασμού τεχνικών. Παράλληλα, στο πλαίσιο της μετεκπαίδευσής του και της εκεί ερευνητικής του δραστηριότητας, ανακηρύχτηκε το 2021 Διδάκτορας της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου της Ζυρίχης. Του έχει απονεμηθεί η ανώτατη πιστοποίηση επάρκειας για την εκτέλεση αξονικών καρδιάς από την Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Καρδιαγγειακής Απεικόνισης (EACVI level 3 accreditation) και την Αμερικανική Εταιρεία Αξονικών Καρδιάς (SCCT level 3 accreditation). Dr Papathanasiou Sotirios is a Cardiologist with a private practice in Kolonaki. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with research focusing on atherosclerotic disease and arrhythmias. He has specialized in interventional cardiology and advanced diagnostic imaging ultrasound techniques for cardiovascular pathology, with particular expertise in complex arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, all valvular heart diseases, and the study of cardiovascular pathology in children. His specific areas of interest include the early diagnosis and management of progressive atherosclerotic disease at all stages, heart failure, as well as pediatric and adult cardiomyopathies. A significant portion of cardiovascular diagnostics is conducted in his cardiology practice – diagnostic laboratory, while more complex diagnostic procedures are performed in collaboration with major medical centers. Fountas Epameinondas is a Specialist Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Agia Paraskevi equipped with all modern cardiological devices in a pleasant and warm environment for the patient. In recent years, he has been working as a Consultant in the Cardiology Department of the Euroclinic of Athens. He began his specialization in 2016 at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, where he gained experience in complex and rare cardiological diseases, enabling him to manage any cardiological issue, no matter how complicated it may appear. Christina Rogakou is a Cardiologist specialized in congenital heart disease in both children and adults, as well as in interventional cardiology. She has extensive clinical experience in specialized cardiology centers in Germany and Greece and holds a PhD from Heidelberg University, with her research focusing on out-of-hospital resuscitation by laypersons.

She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and obtained her cardiology specialization in 2017, having completed her residency at the Duisburg Cardiology Center in Germany. She then worked there as a Senior Registrar and, from 2020 to 2023, served as Head of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Unit. Amartolos Panagiotis is a Cardiologist and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Athens with a private practice in Chaidari.
