Venieri Aspasia MSc – “Happy People” follows the CBT psychotherapeutic approach - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a brief, and very evidence based therapy for mental health, according to the most recent academic literature. With respect and sincere interest, she supports people to find the light and the power that they have inside them to pursue what they need and find balance in their own axis. Nevertheless, it is mandatory that someone first makes the decision that he/she wants to move on and live his/her life. She has worked therapeutically with adults and elderly in different institutions. At AKTIOS Elderly Care Unit in Agia Paraskevi, she provided individual and group therapy to elderly with dementia and Alzheimer’s; in addition, she worked on cognitive, emotional and motoric empowerment of the inhabitants there, in creative ways. At ROOTS WELLNESS CENTER, she conducted individual, bilingual psychotherapy to adults in a clinical context, online throughout Greece. Moreover, under the guidance of TACT HELLAS, she worked on psychological trauma therapy. At the Counseling Center of Hellenic American College, she set up and directed a psychoeducational group of students on “Unhealthy and Violent Relationships in Every Environment and Development of Healthy Interpersonal Relationships”. At her own private practice, “Happy People” in Agia Paraskevi, she offers face to face and online individual and group psychotherapy sessions, career counseling to adolescents and adults, as well as seminars for corporations and individuals. Furthermore, she offers alternative therapies for mental health like Reiki, Mindfulness and Meditation, either on demand or consolidated in a psychotherapeutic frame as a more holistic approach, depending on the particular needs of each individual. Her studies began with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing Management at DEREE, The American College of Greece. She continued with a postgraduate diploma by the University of London-Birkbeck in Organizational Psychology, followed by a second postgraduate degree, a Master’s, in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Hellenic American University with a concentration in CBT – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. She has also been trained in the treatment of psychological trauma by TACT HELLAS. Aspasia is passionate for what she does and can be best characterized as a lifelong learner.
