Sarantos Konstantinos MD, FRCS, is the Director of the 7th Orthopedic Clinic at YGEIA Hospital and maintains private practices in central Athens, Marousi, and Kranidi. He is an official trainer of the MAKO Robotic System and the minimally invasive technique “SuperPath” in Europe for Hip and Knee Arthroplasties and has trained over 450 surgeons from Europe and beyond in more than 45 educational courses. Dr. Georgios Karydakis, MD, PhD, is an Orthopedic Surgeon, Military Physician, Doctor of Medicine from the University of Thessaly, Consultant at the Orthopedic Clinic of the 251st Air Force General Hospital, and maintains a private practice in Athens. He specializes in sports injuries, arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery of major joints (arthroplasty), pediatric orthopedic conditions, as well as trauma surgery. Kaldis Panagiotis is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Upper Limb Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Alongside his private practice in Pallini, he works as Deputy Director in the B' Department of Hand Surgery and Microsurgery at Hygeia Hospital, where he manages complex hand and shoulder injuries. He holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his postgraduate studies focusing on metabolic bone diseases and Osteoporosis at the same university. Dr. Giannakos Athanasios-Rene S. is specialized in arthroscopic surgery of sports-related knee and shoulder injuries, as well as in M.I.S. Fast Track total knee and hip arthroplasty. He initiated and completed his Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology residency at the University General Hospital of Larissa in the Orthopedic Clinic Department under the direction of Professor K.N. Malizos. He is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. During the final year of his residency, he trained in shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery at the Minimal Access Surgery Unit of the I.R.C.C.S. GSD Hospital, Milan, Italy, under Professor and Director Prof. Pietro Randelli. He also trained in M.I.S. Fast Track total hip and knee arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery at the Luganese Hospital, Lugano, Switzerland, under Professor and Director Prof. Mateo Denti. Immediately after obtaining his specialty certification, he was appointed as a permanent consultant at the Minimal Access Surgery Unit of the I.R.C.C.S. GSD Hospital, Milan, Italy, under Professor and Director Prof. Pietro Randelli. He began his Sports Medicine specialty at the University Hospital Catanzaro, Italy, following entrance exams, holding a salaried position and scholarship from the E.U., under the direction of Professor Pietro Scotto di Vettimo. During the first year of the specialty, he trained at the University Hospital Chieti, Italy, in the Sports Medicine Department under the direction of Professor Leonardo Vecchiet. There are articles, lectures, and surgeries by him available online. He collaborates with "Athens Medical Center," "Mitera" Hospital, and Mediterraneo Hospital, and is a scientific collaborator. He maintains private practice offices in Chalandri and Nea Smyrni.
