Pathiakis Ioannis Md, MSc, PhD is an Orthopedic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Peristeri. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has obtained two postgraduate degrees in "Minimally Invasive Surgery, Robotic Surgery & Tele-surgery Medicine" and "Surgical Anatomy" from the Medical School of the same university. Καλύβας δίνει προτεραιότητα στη συντηρητική θεραπεία, η οποία περιλαμβάνει εξατομικευμένα πρωτόκολλα αποκατάστασης καθώς και υπερηχογραφικά καθοδηγούμενες εγχύσεις κορτιζόνης, υαλουρονικού οξέος και PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma).

Εφόσον έχει εξαντληθεί κάθε πιθανότητα βελτίωσης της πάθησης του ασθενούς με συντηρητική θεραπεία, προτείνει τη χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση μόνο όταν αυτή είναι πραγματικά απαραίτητη.
