Κατά τη διάρκεια της ειδίκευσης του, εξειδικεύθηκε στις κλινικές Άνω Άκρου & Χειρός, Παιδοορθοπαιδικής και Αθλητικών Κακώσεων. Υπηρέτησε ως επικουρικός επιμελητής στη Γενική Νοσοκομειακή Μονάδα Σπάρτης. Με στόχο τη διαρκή επιστημονική εξέλιξη, μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο στη Χειρουργική Γόνατος, στο Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital και στο Lister Hospital in Stevenage, όπου διατηρεί έως σήμερα ενεργό ρόλο ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης. Κατά την παραμονή του στη Βρετανία, απέκτησε εις βάθος εμπειρία σε σύγχρονες και ελάχιστα επεμβατικές τεχνικές, τις οποίες εφαρμόζει με συνέπεια στην κλινική του πράξη. Σήμερα, διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Περιστέρι Αττικής και συνεργάζεται με τις ιδιωτικές κλινικές Λευκός Σταυρός, Ευρωκλινική Αθηνών, Ερρίκος Ντυνάν και Therapis General Hospital. Pathiakis Ioannis Md, MSc, PhD is an Orthopedic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Peristeri. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has obtained two postgraduate degrees in "Minimally Invasive Surgery, Robotic Surgery & Tele-surgery Medicine" and "Surgical Anatomy" from the Medical School of the same university.
