Ο Δημόπουλος Λεωνίδας MD, MSc είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός και διατηρεί ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στο Κολωνάκι και στην Τρίπολη. Έπειτα έλαβε την επίσημη έμμισθη θέση εξειδίκευσης της Μ. Βρετανίας στη χειρουργική ώμου και αγκώνα (post C.C.T. Clinical Fellowship) στα διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα κέντρα Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham 2020-2021 και Royal Orthopaedic Hospital 2021-2022 όπου εκπαιδεύτηκε στις πλέον σύγχρονες τεχνικές αρθροσκόπησης και αρθροπλαστικής ώμου και αγκώνα, πραγματοποιώντας πολυάριθμες επεμβάσεις τόσο στο γενικό πληθυσμό όσο και σε επαγγελματίες αθλητές. Έχει συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε πληθώρα εγχώριων και διεθνών επιστημονικών συναντήσεων ενώ έχει λάβει πολλαπλές υποτροφίες από εγχώριες και διεθνείς επιστημονικές εταιρείες, έχει πολυάριθμες δημοσιεύσεις επιστημονικών άρθρων σε διεθνή περιοδικά ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει στην εκπαίδευση φοιτητών Ιατρικής στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, καθώς και στο University of Birmingham, MBChB. Currently, she deals with health issues related to endocrine glands such as the thyroid, pituitary, adrenals, and gonads, as well as diseases including type 1, type 2, or gestational diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome. Finally, alongside her doctoral research experience, her scientific work includes publications in reputable international medical journals focusing on infertility and thyroid diseases, as well as participation as a speaker in Greek and international conferences.
