Ο Δημόπουλος Λεωνίδας MD, MSc είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός και διατηρεί ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στο Κολωνάκι και στην Τρίπολη. Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών το 2012. Έπειτα έλαβε την επίσημη έμμισθη θέση εξειδίκευσης της Μ. Βρετανίας στη χειρουργική ώμου και αγκώνα (post C.C.T. Clinical Fellowship) στα διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα κέντρα Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham 2020-2021 και Royal Orthopaedic Hospital 2021-2022 όπου εκπαιδεύτηκε στις πλέον σύγχρονες τεχνικές αρθροσκόπησης και αρθροπλαστικής ώμου και αγκώνα, πραγματοποιώντας πολυάριθμες επεμβάσεις τόσο στο γενικό πληθυσμό όσο και σε επαγγελματίες αθλητές. Έχει συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε πληθώρα εγχώριων και διεθνών επιστημονικών συναντήσεων ενώ έχει λάβει πολλαπλές υποτροφίες από εγχώριες και διεθνείς επιστημονικές εταιρείες, έχει πολυάριθμες δημοσιεύσεις επιστημονικών άρθρων σε διεθνή περιοδικά ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει στην εκπαίδευση φοιτητών Ιατρικής στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, καθώς και στο University of Birmingham, MBChB. Ιδιαίτερο επιστημονικό ενδιαφέρον του αποτελούν η αρθροσκοπική χειρουργική ώμου και γόνατος, η ελάχιστης επεμβατικότητας επανορθωτική χειρουργική μεγάλων αρθρώσεων (γόνατος/ισχίου/ώμου) καθώς και η ορθοπαιδική έρευνα. Pathologist Dr. Syneifakoulis Theoxaris is the third generation of physicians in his family. He graduated with "Excellent" from the Medical School of the University of Pécs, Hungary, and was awarded his Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, having completed his dissertation on skin melanoma.
