He completed his doctoral dissertation at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland (USA). He began his specialization in Rheumatology in London. There, he had the opportunity to participate in J. Cyriax's team for the consolidation and dissemination of Orthopedic Pathology and to engage in the biomechanical pathophysiology of the spinal column, the scientific foundation of osteopathy (manipulation), and injection therapy of the joints and spine. He served for five years as Director of the Rheumatology Department at NIEE and currently serves as a scientific collaborator at the University of Athens. He founded the "Low Back Pain and Spinal Column Clinic" at the University of Athens, which he transferred to the private sector under the name "Institute of Neck Pain, Low Back Pain, and Spinal Column," where he focuses on the conservative non-surgical treatment of spinal diseases, the publication of related articles, and the organization of seminars. He is among the first scientists to have internationally documented that conservative treatment can reduce or eliminate the size of intervertebral disc herniation and that paretic sciatica caused by discopathy is no longer an absolute indication for surgery, but can be managed equally well or better conservatively.

Afentoulidi Katerina is an Endocrinologist who maintains a private practice in the areas of Zografou and Gerakas. Upon completing her basic medical studies, she underwent a three-month medical training program in the Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgical Departments at the General Hospital of Chios "Skylitseio." Subsequently, she fulfilled her mandatory rural service at the Multifunctional Regional Clinic of Volissos, Chios. Ksomeritaki Eleni is an Orthopedic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Pangrati. She studied at the Medical School of the University of Crete in Heraklion. She served her mandatory Rural Service at the Vamou Health Center in Chania. In 1998, she obtained her specialty title in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology. She specialized in Orthopedics at the Asklipieio Hospital of Voula and at KAT Hospital in specialized departments of hand surgery, microsurgery, and pediatric orthopedics. Additionally, she completed postgraduate studies in the organization and management of health services. She has completed three years of training in medical acupuncture (2 years at the Northern Greece Institute of Acupuncture and 1 year at the Medical Acupuncture Training Center) and holds certification according to the standards of ICMART - International Council of Medical Acupuncture Related Techniques. Furthermore, she has been trained in homeopathy. Alongside Orthopedics, she has been practicing acupuncture since 2010, primarily addressing musculoskeletal pain by administering homeopathic medicines in combination.
