Έλαβε την ειδικότητα Ορθοπαιδικής και Τραυματολογίας στο St. Anna Hospital στο Herne της Γερμανίας, ενός Κέντρου Ορθοπαιδικής με 29.500 ασθενείς και άνω των 4.000 αρθροσκοπήσεων ετησίως, και ειδικεύθηκε σε όλο το φάσμα των αθλητικών κακώσεων με έμφαση στις κακώσεις γόνατος, ισχίου, ώμου και ποδοκνημικής άρθρωσης εφαρμόζοντας εξειδικευμένες αρθροσκοπικές τεχνικές ελάχιστης επεμβατικότητας και πρωτόκολλα ταχείας αποκατάστασεις των ασθενών. Από τον Ιανουάριο 2019 ανέλαβε τη θέση Αναπληρωτή Διευθυντή του Κέντρου Χειρουργικής Ισχίου-Γόνατος-Άκρου Ποδός του St. Anna Hospital Herne. Επίσης έλαβε κατόπιν εξετάσεων από τον Ιατρικό Σύλλογο Westfalen-Lippe Γερμανίας την υποειδικότητα Ειδικής Χειρουργικής Τραύματος σχετικά με την αντιμετώπιση περίπλοκων καταγμάτων και πολυτραυματία όπως επίσης και την υποειδικότητα της Επείγουσας Ιατρικής. Συμμετέχει ενεργά με ομιλίες σε διεθνή και ευρωπαϊκά συνέδρια Ορθοπαιδικής και είναι μέλος της Γερμανόφωνης Εταιρίας Αρθροσκόπησης AGA και της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Χειρουργικής Γόνατος ESSKA. Διατηρεί το επιστημονικό του έργο στη Γερμανία συνεχίζοντας να εργάζεται ως υπεύθυνος του Κέντρου Αρθροπλαστικών Επεμβάσεων στο St. Anna Hospital Herne και παράλληλα δέχεται ασθενείς στο ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Τέλος, γνώμονας του είναι η εξατομικευμένη προσέγγιση του ασθενούς υπό τη δέουσα προσοχή, ώστε μέσω της άρτιας και εμπεριστατωμένης διάγνωσης να επιτευχθεί η βέλτιστη θεραπευτική αντιμετώπιση εφαρμόζοντας διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα πρωτόκολλα θεραπείας.

Dr. Lepetsos Panagiotis is an Orthopedic Surgeon and maintains his private practice in Neo Irakleio. He is a consultant at the Athens Medical Center. The physician graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens, holds a Master's Degree in Metabolic Bone Diseases, and a PhD in Knee Osteoarthritis. He has worked and specialized in the 4th Orthopedic Clinic of KAT Hospital, the Microsurgery Clinic of KAT Hospital, as well as the Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic of the "Agia Sofia" Children's Hospital. He has specialized in reconstructive hip and knee surgery through a salaried fellowship of the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT). He has worked as a consultant at KAT Hospital (2017 – 2019). He has more than 50 publications in international scientific journals and more than 200 presentations and lectures at international and Greek orthopedic conferences. He has been awarded five times by the Hellenic Orthopedic Society. He is a reviewer for 40 international scientific journals. He has participated in numerous seminars and scientific conferences in Greece and abroad.
