Ειδικεύθηκε στην ειδικότητα της Ρευματολογιας στο Πανεπιστημιακό Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Λάρισας. Επίσης, κατέχει μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών "Άσκηση και Υγεία". Είναι Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας μετά την εκπόνηση της διδακτορικής διατριβής με θέμα "Ομοιοστασία των Β Λεμφοκυττάρων στη Συστηματική Σκλήρυνση". Διαθέτει άδεια εκτέλεσης Υπερήχων Μυοσκελετικού των οργάνων της Ρευματολογιας από το Υπουργείο Υγείας, μετά από εκπαίδευση στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Θεσσαλονίκης "Ιπποκράτειο". Συμμετέχει τακτικά ως ομιλήτρια ή πρόεδρος σε ρευματολογικά συνέδρια.
