He has specialized in the anterior segments of the eye, specifically in glaucoma, the ocular surface, and complex cataract cases at King's College Hospital in London as a senior clinical fellow. He completed his Ophthalmology specialty at the University Clinic of Heidelberg, where he worked in the glaucoma, cataract, refractive surgery, cornea and ocular surface departments as well as in the Eye Bank. He participated in the retinal research department focusing on anti-VEGF agents. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate studies in Health Units Management at Neapolis University in Paphos.
