Έλαβε τον ιδιαιτέρως τιμητικό τίτλο του FRCP (Lon) από το Βασιλικό Κολλέγιο των Παθολόγων το 2022 σε αναγνώριση της 18ετούς συμβολής του στην πρόοδο της ιατρικής επιστήμης μέσω της κλινικής και ερευνητικής του δραστηριότητας στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία. Ιωαννίδης Γεώργιος είναι Μαιευτήρας - Χειρουργός Γυναικολόγος με 20ετή εμπειρία και ειδίκευση τη διερεύνηση της υπογονιμότητας, την Υποβοηθούμενη Αναπαραγωγή και Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση καθώς και την Αναπαραγωγική Λαπαροσκοπική -Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική. Εκατοντάδες παιδιά έχουν γεννηθεί μέχρι σήμερα στην Ελλάδα και την Μεγάλη Βρετανία από τον ίδιο μετά από κύκλους εξωσωματικής γονιμοποίησης που πραγματοποίησε. Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών από όπου αποφοίτησε το 1994. Στη συνέχεια μετέβη στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και ειδικεύθηκε εξ ολοκλήρου στη Μαιευτική - Γυναικολογία. To 2002 απέκτησε τον Ευρωπαϊκό τίτλο ειδικότητας στην Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογία. Στη συνέχεια εξειδικεύτηκε μέχρι το 2005 σε όλες τις τεχνικές υποβοήθησης αναπαραγωγής, εξωσωματικής γονιμοποίησης στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Hammersmith του Λονδίνου, υπό τον διάσημο και πρωτοπόρο στην εξωσωματική γονιμοποίηση Καθηγητή Λόρδο Robert Winston. Επίσης έλαβε περαιτέρω εξειδίκευση σε προχωρημένες τεχνικές λαπαροσκοπικής και υστεροσκοπικής χειρουργικής στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ulleval του Όσλο. Το 2001 απέκτησε την Ευρωπαϊκή πιστοποίηση Κολποσκόπησης από το Βασιλικό Κολλέγιο Μαιευτήρων - Γυναικολόγων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, ενώ το 2002 πιστοποιήθηκε από το Family Planning Association της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Το 2005, με την επιστροφή του από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και τη Νορβηγία, εντάχθηκε στο Νοσοκομείο ΜΗΤΕΡΑ στην Αθήνα, ως Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση και τη Λαπαροσκοπική - Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική. Το 2005 ιδρύει το ιδιωτικό κέντρο Αναπαραγωγής “gonimotis” στην Αθήνα. Από το 2005 έως σήμερα εργάζεται συνεχώς στη μονάδα Υποβοηθούμενης Αναπαραγωγής του ΜΗΤΕΡΑ. Διετέλεσε Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος της Μονάδας Εξωσωματικής ΜΗΤΕΡΑ IVF από το 2012 έως το 2013 και από το 2015 έως το 2017. Το 2017 είχε την τιμή να εκλεγεί Τακτικό Ακαδημαϊκό Μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Επιστημών (Euromediterranean Academy of Sciences). Το 2018, η σταθερή του δέσμευση στη ζωή τον ώθησε να γίνει μέλος της Ιατρικής Γυναικολογικής Ομάδας IVF της HOPEgenesis που προσπαθεί να ανατρέπει το κλίμα της υπογονιμότητας-υπογεννητικότητας στην Ελλάδα. Είναι Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος Μονάδας της Υποβοηθούμενης Αναπαραγωγής του Νοσοκομείου ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και μέλος του Επιστημονικού Συμβουλίου του ίδιου Νοσοκομείου. Ο Δρ. Ιωαννίδης είναι μέλος πολλών διεθνών επιστημονικών εταιρειών όπως η Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Ανθρώπινης Αναπαραγωγής και Εμβρυολογίας (ESHRE) και η Αμερικανική Εταιρεία Αναπαραγωγικής Ιατρικής (ASRM). Έχει διαρκές επιστημονικό έργο είτε ως διοργανωτής πολλαπλών συνεδρίων που αφορούν την Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση ή ως προσκεκλημένος διεθνής ομιλητής.

Georgia Mendrinou is an Obstetrician - Gynecologic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Ilisia. Simultaneously, she is a Scientific Collaborator at IASO, MITERA, REA Maternity Hospitals, and the "White Cross" Clinic. She studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Obstetrics - Gynecology at the General Panarkadiko Hospital of Tripoli and the General State Hospital of Nikaia. Furthermore, she has received specialization in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Kyparissia, as well as in "Climacteric and Menopause" at Aretaieio Hospital. Finally, she specializes in the management of low and high-risk pregnancies, pregnancy pathology, and menopause.
