Η Δρ. Ελευθερία Χόρτη σπούδασε Ιατρική στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Έσσεν και ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική της διατριβή το 2020, με θέμα τις αυτοάνοσες ενδοκρινοπάθειες σε ασθενείς με μεταστατικό μελάνωμα υπό ανοσοθεραπεία. 

Από το 2016 έως το 2022 εργάστηκε ως ειδικευόμενη ιατρός στη Δερματολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Έσσεν, όπου απέκτησε εμπειρία στην δερματολογία, και ιδιαίτερα στη δερματοογκολογία (καθημερινή φροντίδα ογκολογικών ασθενών με ενεργό συμμετοχή σε διεπιστημονικά ογκολογικά συμβούλια.με συμμετοχή σε κλινικές μελέτες φάσης ΙΙ-IV), και τη χειρουργική δερματολογία. Το 2021 απέκτησε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας και συνέχισε ως ειδική δερματολόγος στην ίδια κλινική. To 2022 έδωσε ειδικές εξετάσεις και απέκτησε εξειδίκευση στη φαρμακευτική θεραπεία όγκων του δέρματος.

She has been awarded numerous scholarships and awards from recognized institutions, such as the Onassis Foundation, the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), GlaxoSmithKline, as well as the University of Patras and the Panhellenic Medical Association for excellence and being first in her class upon graduation.
