Christos Pournaras was born and raised in Athens, where he completed his studies at the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2006. He subsequently engaged in primary research at the laboratory of the University Urology Clinic of Munich (TUM), where he also obtained his dissertation. He then specialized in Urology at the 1st University Urology Clinic of the University of Athens at LAIKO hospital. During his tenure at the aforementioned clinic, he participated as a researcher in international clinical studies. He completed the Greek and European specialty examinations in 2015.
