Aleksopoulou Artemis is an Obstetrician - Gynecological Surgeon and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of Athens, with a private practice in Neo Psychiko. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed postgraduate studies in the same university’s Medical School, specializing in Gestational Pathology. Furthermore, she holds a Master in Surgery in Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopic and Robotic) from University College London (UCL), graduating with distinction. She has extensive clinical experience, serves as the Director of the Gynecological Clinic at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens, and collaborates with the Gynecological Clinic at the "Errikos Dynan" Hospital Center as well as with the Gynecological and Obstetric Clinics of IASO and MITERA Hospitals. As a woman herself, she understands the needs of every woman today, who must fulfill multiple roles, requiring genuine support and understanding of the female nature and all life stages—from adolescence through motherhood to mature age. Η Δρ. Γεωργακοπούλου Αλεξάνδρα είναι Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με 20ετή εμπειρία και εξειδίκευση στον Προγεννητικό Έλεγχο, την Ιατρική Εμβρύου, την προηγμένη Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογική Υπερηχογραφία και την παρακολούθηση κυήσεων υψηλού κινδύνου. Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου της Βόννης στη Γερμανία από όπου αποφοίτησε το 1993. Στη συνέχεια μετέβη στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και ειδικεύθηκε εξ ολοκλήρου στη Μαιευτική - Γυναικολογία. To 2001 απέκτησε τον Ευρωπαϊκό τίτλο ειδικότητας στην Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογία. Στη συνέχεια εξειδικεύτηκε για πολλά έτη στον τομέα του Προγεννητικού Ελέγχου και της Ιατρικής εμβρύου στα μεγάλα Πανεπιστημιακά Νοσοκομεία St George’s University Hospital, και King’s College University Hospital στο Λονδίνο. Η εξειδίκευσή της αφορά την προγεννητική διάγνωση συγγενών ανωμαλιών εμβρύου, την εκτέλεση των υπερηχογραφημάτων κύησης αυχενικής διαφάνειας και Β’ επιπέδου καθώς και τις επεμβάσεις αμνιοκέντησης και λήψης τροφοβλάστης. Το 1999 απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο στους προηγμένους Μαιευτικούς Υπερήχους από το Βασιλικό Κολλέγιο Μαιευτήρων - Γυναικολόγων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Το 2000 πιστοποιήθηκε από το Fetal Medicine Foundation της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας και το όνομά της έκτοτε συμπεριλαμβάνεται στην παγκόσμια λίστα ιατρών που αξιολογούνται κάθε χρόνο και έχουν το δικαίωμα να χρησιμοποιούν το πρόγραμμα της Αυχενικής Διαφάνειας διεθνώς. Το 2005, με την επιστροφή της στην Ελλάδα εντάσσεται στο Νοσοκομείο ΜΗΤΕΡΑ στην Αθήνα, ως Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Ιατρική Εμβρύου, όπου και συνεχίζει να εργάζεται αδιαλείπτως έως σήμερα στο τμήμα Εμβυομητρικής Ιατρικής. Το 2005 ιδρύει στο Κολωνάκι το προηγμένο Μαιευτικό Γυναικολογικό Κέντρο gonimotis όπου και συνεχίζει να εργάζεται έως σήμερα. Στο κέντρο gonimotis διενεργούνται όλες οι εξειδικευμένες εξετάσεις Εμβρυομητρικής Ιατρικής, όπως η αυχενική διαφάνεια, τα υπερηχογραφήματα Β’ επιπέδου και Doppler, οι επεμβάσεις αμνιοπαρακέντησης και λήψης τροφοβλάστης, το μη-επεμβατικό γενετικό τεστ καθώς και η πλήρης παρακολούθηση των κυήσεων. Κατέχει την υπ’ αριθμ Υ7α/ΓΠ10373 άδεια εκτέλεσης Μαιευτικών και Γυναικολογικών Υπερηχογραφημάτων από το ΚΕΣΥ, κατόπιν επιτυχίας στις σχετικές εξετάσεις που διοργανώνει το Υπουργείο Υγείας.

Dr. Armeniakos Aleksandros is an Obstetric Surgeon Gynecologist who runs his private practice in Ilisia. He graduated from Medical School with the highest honors and subsequently, during his specialization, he had the opportunity to gain significant experience and training in a large number of surgeries, both gynecological and obstetric. He acquired experience in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, colposcopy and cervical pathology, as well as in the management of high-risk pregnancies. The doctor was trained in Ultrasound and has performed a large number of transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasounds, both obstetric and gynecological, as well as in the field of Prenatal Screening and Fetal Medicine, specifically in the prenatal diagnosis of congenital fetal anomalies, counseling, and Nuchal Translucency measurement. He serves as a Consultant at the General and Obstetric Hospital Mitera and is notably involved in the treatment of gynecological problems related to infertility such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, polycystic ovaries, etc., using advanced modern techniques, as well as in cervical pathology by performing colposcopies and modern treatments. Finally, it would be remiss not to mention that Dr. Armeniakos possesses extensive scientific work and has participated in numerous postgraduate seminars in Greece and abroad, as well as in papers and presentations at International and National Conferences, with special interest in Reproductive Endocrinology, Assisted Reproduction, Laparoscopy, Cervical Pathology, and High-Risk Pregnancy.
