Georgios Bpagias is a General Surgeon, PhD holder from the Medical School of Athens. He completed his medical studies at the Medical School of Athens with "Excellent" marks and undertook his specialty training in Greece and Germany (university clinics of general surgery and transplantation in Hannover and Essen). He is a doctoral candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and academically trained in proctology at the Strasbourg Medical University. He holds a postgraduate degree in Bioethics from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace. Additionally, it is worth mentioning his specialization in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg in France, in minimally invasive inguinal hernia repair at IRCAD, and his training in assisted robotic laparoscopic surgery.
