Παράλληλα, συνεχίζοντας αμείωτα το ακαδημαϊκό, ερευνητικό και επιστημονικό του έργο, έλαβε το 2021 τον Τίτλο του Τακτικού Καθηγητή Χειρουργικής στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Χαϊδελβέργης, όντας ο νεότερος σε ηλικία χειρουργός που λαμβάνει αυτόν τον τίτλο.

Ενώ, η σταθερή και ουσιαστική ενασχόλησή του με τον τομέα της Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας οδήγησε στην απόκτηση του Ευρωπαϊκού Τίτλου Εξειδίκευσης στη Χειρουργική Ογκολογία (Fellow of the European Board of Surgery – FEBS in Surgical Oncology), ο οποίος απονέμεται από το European Board of Surgery – UEMS Section of Surgery . Πρόσφατα, εκλέχθηκε Τακτικός Καθηγητής Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου .
