Dr. Maria-Irini Kourakou is a practicing ophthalmologist based in Cholargos, Athens. Niskopoulou Mania Phd Kai Synergates is an Ophthalmic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Chalandri. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized in Age-related Macular Degeneration and Retinal diseases (fellowship in Medical Retina) at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the largest clinical and research centers worldwide. Spanos Michalis is a surgical ophthalmologist. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and actively participated in two doctoral dissertations at the Medical School of the same institution, contributing to the academic and scientific advancement of the field.

He completed his specialty in Surgical Ophthalmology at the General Hospital of Nikaia - Piraeus, and subsequently specialized further in anterior segment surgery, acquiring specialized knowledge and skills in advanced ophthalmic surgical techniques.

He holds the European Board of Ophthalmology diploma and has been awarded for his scientific work at international conferences. Dr. Mendrinos has participated in international studies (Excite, Mont Blanc, Cabernet, VIEW2) that established the modern management of age-related macular degeneration. He is the founder and administrator of the Medica Polyclinic in Agios Stefanos, where he currently practices, a state-of-the-art facility covering nearly all specialties.
