Mporodimos Xristodoulos is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with a private practice in Ioannina. After completing his medical studies, he specialized in Ophthalmology at Borås Hospital in Sweden. He has served as the Medical Director of the ophthalmology clinic at Lindesberg, Sweden, and as a senior consultant at the University Ophthalmology Clinic in Örebro, Sweden. Ntousis Georgios is an Ophthalmologist who has maintained a private practice in Pangrati since 1999. He enrolled in 1985 and graduated in 1991 from the Medical School of the University of Athens with honors. After gaining 1.5 years of experience as a surgical assistant in the Ophthalmology Clinic of Ypapanti, where he had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most renowned ophthalmologists in Athens, he specialized in Ophthalmology at the Athens Eye Clinic from 1995 to 1999, which was pioneering at the time in cataract surgery using the new phacoemulsification method. Dr. Koutsonas Antonis MD, FEBOphth is an Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Kifisia. He holds a Doctorate and is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Aachen in Germany. He served for several years as a Consultant in the Department of Vitreous and Retinal Diseases at the University Ophthalmology Clinic of Aachen (2014-2022), where he specialized in the surgical management of vitreoretinal diseases and cataracts (vitreoretinal and cataract surgeon). Additionally, following European Ophthalmology examinations, he obtained the European Ophthalmology title FEBO (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology). He possesses extensive clinical experience in prominent positions and has performed over 2200 pars plana vitrectomy surgeries for a wide range of vitreous and retinal diseases, 600 cataract and intraocular lens implantations, as well as more than 5000 intravitreal injections. He has significant research experience, having participated in numerous multicenter studies on various ophthalmic conditions, acting as principal investigator in several, and is trained in the principles of good clinical practice. He has published numerous articles in internationally renowned ophthalmological scientific journals and actively participates in international conferences. Finally, he has been involved in clinical research in the fields of glaucoma, electrophysiology, and the surgical treatment of vitreous and retinal diseases.
