Tyrmpas Ioannis is a Gastroenterologist-Interventional Endoscopist with private practices in Korydallos and Marousi. He holds a degree and is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has received specialized training in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Interventional Endoscopy at the University Hospital "The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh" in the United Kingdom, where he also worked as a Locum Consultant and holds the "Diploma of the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology." He is the Director of the 1st Gastroenterology Interventional Endoscopy Clinic at IASO and the scientific head of the state-of-the-art endoscopy department at the General Clinic of IASO. Dr. Papafragkakis Xarilaos is a Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist - Interventional Endoscopist and maintains a private practice in Kolonaki. He has been fully trained in the USA. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Gastroenterology at the Brooklyn Hospital Center of Mount Sinai - Icahn School of Medicine in New York. He specialized in Interventional Endoscopy at the MD Anderson Cancer Center Hospital of the University of Texas and in Hepatology at the University of Miami - Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Additionally, he holds a specialty in Internal Medicine from the University of Illinois in Chicago and possesses certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Papafragkakis is the author of numerous publications in scientific journals and has extensive academic teaching experience. He is a scientific collaborator and performs endoscopies at the Euroclinic Athens Hospital in Ampelokipoi.

Dr. Petros Stathopoulos is a Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience gained in leading university hospitals in Germany. Since 2026, he has been affiliated with the 3rd Department of Gastroenterology at HYGEIA Hospital in Athens. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Head of the Endoscopy Unit and Consultant Gastroenterologist at the University Hospital of Marburg, Germany.He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in Germany. His clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy, including advanced procedures such as Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), Endoscopic Full-Thickness Resection (eFTR), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), ERCP, and the management of complex gastrointestinal neoplasms.Dr. Stathopoulos has received advanced training at internationally renowned centers, including Keio University Hospital in Tokyo, Japan, and Hôpital Édouard Herriot in Lyon, France, with a special focus on advanced endoscopic resection techniques. He has also played a key role in the certification and quality assurance processes of multidisciplinary oncology centers specializing in pancreatic and colorectal cancer.His scientific work includes numerous publications in peer-reviewed international journals and presentations at major European gastroenterology and endoscopy conferences. He is an active member of several prestigious scientific societies, including the German Society of Gastroenterology (DGVS), the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), and the German Society for Endoscopy and Imaging Techniques (DGE-BV).
