Αποφοίτησε από την Στρατιωτική Ιατρική (ΣΣΑΣ) λαμβάνοντας το πτυχίο της Ιατρικής από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο της Θεσσαλονίκης το 1994. Stefanakis Ioannis is an Otolaryngologist Surgeon specializing in adults and children, maintaining a private practice in Cholargos.
