Spanoudi Filio MD, PhD is an Endocrinologist - Diabetologist with a private practice in Ampelokipoi. She holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a doctoral thesis on diabetes mellitus and thyroid disease, and is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Padua in Italy. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Health Unit Management from the Hellenic Open University, with a thesis on polycystic ovary syndrome. She has served as an endocrinology trainee at the Endocrinology Department of the General Maternity Hospital of Athens "Elena Venizelou," where she specialized in pregnancy endocrinology and reproductive endocrinology, as well as a pathology trainee and later scientific collaborator at the B' Propaedeutic Medical Clinic - Research Unit of the University General Hospital "Attikon," where she completed her doctoral dissertation and conducted research on diabetes mellitus. She has extensive research experience with publications of original papers in Greek and international medical journals and presentations at international and Greek conferences. The physician has significant clinical experience and specializes in endocrinological monitoring of pregnancy, thyroid disorders, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, and reproductive endocrinology. The practice also manages cases of osteoporosis, dyslipidemia, obesity, parathyroid gland diseases, pituitary gland disorders, adrenal gland conditions, as well as other diseases related to the scientific fields of Endocrinology, Diabetes Mellitus, and Metabolism. Dr. Iavatso Christos MD, MSc, PhD is a Gynaecologist - Obstetrician and maintains a private practice in Ambelokipi. He has extensive experience and active activity in gynaecological centres in the United Kingdom (Christie Hospital Manchester and Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford), as well as in the Gynaecology Clinic of the General Cancer Hospital of Piraeus "Metaxas". He is the Head of the Gynecology Medical Team of the "Henry Dunant" Hospital Center. Their interventions cover the whole spectrum of modern Gynaecology. With vast experience in surgical practice, they apply the most innovative techniques, equivalent to those of the largest European Centers, where they worked for many years. Cases are performed with laparoscopic, robotic or open approach, depending on the specificity of each patient and always according to the latest guidelines. Their goal is the radical treatment of gynecological cancer and the cure of patients, always respecting their wishes and giving great importance to their quality of life. Kavroxorianos Spyros is an Obstetrician – Gynecologist MSc with experience in routine gynecological examinations, pregnancy monitoring, and the investigation and treatment of infertility. At his clinic in Heraklion, Crete, he provides personalized care with a modern and scientifically substantiated approach. He has significant education and continuous training in the field of reproductive medicine, aiming to offer high-quality healthcare services. He collaborates with modern medical facilities such as Asklipieion of Crete, Genesis Crete, and Genesis Athens, providing comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology. He has completed postgraduate studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Human Reproduction, as well as specialized training in the same field. Additionally, he has basic life support training and studies in Medicine. His professional experience includes work at specialized reproduction centers and collaboration with recognized organizations in assisted reproduction, emphasizing scientific accuracy and patient safety. Dr. Maria Ioanna Xatziioannou is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist who was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras. She specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology initially at Thriasio General Hospital and subsequently at the 1st Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University of Athens at Alexandra General Hospital. Over the past three years, she has been working in the Prenatal Diagnosis Department of Alexandra General Hospital, performing numerous obstetric ultrasounds and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures daily. She has completed postgraduate studies in Pregnancy Pathology and since 2022 is a doctoral candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Dr. Xatziioannou participates in numerous Greek and European conferences and contributes to the authorship of academic articles in both Greek and international journals.
