Είναι αριστούχος απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Semmelweis και αριστούχος διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Η ιατρική του εκπαίδευση ξεκίνησε με ειδίκευση στη Γενική Χειρουργική σε μεγάλα νοσοκομεία της Αθήνας και στη συνέχεια συνέχισε την ειδικότητά του στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία ενηλίκων και παίδων, αποκτώντας εμπειρία στη διάγνωση και αντιμετώπιση επειγόντων και χρόνιων ΩΡΛ παθήσεων.
