Panagiotis Drakopoulos is an Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in reconstructive microsurgery of the upper limb - hand and in osteoarthritis of the knee, hip, and sports medicine. Η Φωτίκα Ευδοκία είναι Χειρουργός Ορθοπαιδικός και εξειδικεύεται στην χειρουργική άκρου ποδός και αστραγάλου, καθώς και στην τραυματολογία. Διατηρεί ορθοπαιδικό ιατρείο στον Πειραιά και συνεργάζεται με ιδιωτικές κλινικές στην Αθήνα και τον Πειραιά. Επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα μετά από σχεδόν 17 χρόνια παραμονής στην Γερμανία και έχοντας υπηρετήσει ως Επιμελήτρια Α΄ σε μεγάλα ακαδημαϊκά νοσοκομεία της χώρας. He initiated and completed his Orthopedic and Traumatology residency at the University General Hospital of Larissa in the Orthopedic Clinic Department under the direction of Professor K.N. Malizos. He is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. During the final year of his residency, he trained in shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery at the Minimal Access Surgery Unit of the I.R.C.C.S. GSD Hospital, Milan, Italy, under Professor - Director Prof. Pietro Randelli. He also trained in M.I.S. Fast Track total hip and knee arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery at Luganese Hospital, Lugano, Switzerland, under Professor - Director Prof. Mateo Denti. Immediately after obtaining his specialty title, he was appointed as a permanent consultant at the Minimal Access Surgery Unit of the I.R.C.C.S. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the University of Athens and a postdoctoral fellowship from the Biomechanics and Motion Analysis Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA. He also holds a Medical Degree and a postgraduate degree in "Metabolic Bone Diseases" from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has specialized in minimally invasive hip and knee surgeries, as well as robot-assisted hip and knee arthroplasty in the USA.
