Subsequently, he specialized in Neurology at the General Hospital of Attica KAT, in Orthopedics at the 5th Clinic of Spinal Cord and Scoliosis of the same hospital, and in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the National Rehabilitation Center. He has served as Scientific Director at the Rehabilitation - Recovery and Day Care Center "Anelixi," as Consultant of the 3rd Clinic at the Center for Rehabilitation and Care of the Elderly, Disabled, and Afflicted Persons "Filoktitis," as the responsible Physiatrist at the Rehabilitation Center of the Spastic Protection Society "Porta Anichti," and as Scientific Director of the Scientific Physiotherapy Clinic Physicare. Finally, Dr. Mathiopoulos is the author of numerous scientific papers and articles and a participant in many scientific conferences, as well as a member of various Greek and international scientific associations and societies.
