Η Μαρία Καλλιόπη (Μαριλή) Κωνσταντινίδου είναι Καρδιοχειρουργός. Σπούδασε Ιατρική στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κρήτης και στη συνέχεια έλαβε υποτροφία και εκπαιδεύτηκε στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Βοστώνης. Είναι αριστούχος Διδάκτορας του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και έχει λάβει μεταπτυχιακό στην Ογκολογία Θώρακος και τη Χειρουργική και Παθολογία με υποτροφία.

Διετέλεσε την υπηρεσία υπαίθρου στην Κίσσαμο Χανίων και έλαβε την ειδικότητα της στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών "Ο Ευαγγελισμός", στο Ωνάσειο Νοσοκομείο και στο Γενικό Κρατικό Νοσοκομείο Νίκαιας "Άγιος Παντελεήμων". Στη συνέχεια, μετέβη στη Βρετανία για την ολοκλήρωση της ειδικότητας της στο Harefield Hospital του Λονδίνου.
