Η Γιαννοπούλου Ρενάτα MD,MSc, PhDc είναι ειδική Νευρολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης. Είναι επιστημονική συνεργάτης στην ιδιωτική κλινική ‘’Creta InterClinic’’. Τέλος, συμμετείχε ως ερευνήτρια σε κλινικές μελέτες τόσο στη νόσο Πάρκινσον, όσο και στην Πολλαπλή Σκλήρυνση. Είναι υποψήφια διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης με ειδικό ενδιαφέρον στην προχωρημένη νόσο Πάρκινσον και τις παρεμβατικές θεραπείες. Είναι συγγραφέας επιστημονικών άρθρων που δημοσιεύονται σε διεθνή περιοδικά και ανακοινώσεων σε εθνικά και διεθνή ιατρικά επιστημονικά συνέδρια.Eπιπλέον, έχει εκπαιδευτεί στη χρήση βοτουλινικής τοξίνης (Botox, Dysport) για νευρολογικές παθήσεις όπως η Σπαστικότητα μετά από Αγγειακό Εγκεφαλικό Επεισόδιο, Κακώσεις του Νωτιαίου Μυελού ή λόγω Πολλαπλής Σκλήρυνσης, Αυχενική Δυστονία και Ημίσπασμο Προσώπου ή Βλεφαρόσπασμο. Στόχος της θεραπείας είναι η χαλάρωση των εμπλεκόμενων μυών, η μείωση του πόνου, των ακούσιων μυϊκών συσπάσεων και σπασμών. Xarisiou Kleoniki MD is a Neurologist with a private practice in Larissa and a Neurology outpatient clinic within the "IASO Thessaly" Clinic.
