After obtaining her medical specialty title, the physician remained at the Dermatology Clinic of the same University as an associate doctor, where she further specialized in venereal diseases and their treatment. Subsequently, she earned the specialty title in Dermatology – Venereology after four years of training at Diakonie Klinikum Bethesda and Klinikum Lippe hospitals in Germany, specializing in Clinical Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, and Nevus Mapping, with a particular focus on Dermatologic Surgery, performing over 600 procedures. She completed her specialty training in her homeland, where she worked for 8 months at the University Clinic of Heraklion Hospital in Crete.
