Επιτρέπεται η χρήση seroxat 20 κατά την εγκυμοσύνη;
Καλησπέρα παίρνω seroxat 20 εδώ και 5 χρόνια. Πλέον όμως είμαι έγκυος. Οι θεραπευτές μου διαφωνούν στο να τα κόψω ή όχι. Τελικά επιτρέπεται στην εγκυμοσύνη;

Δεν υπάρχει εύκολη απάντηση, εξαρτάται από κάθε οργανισμό ξεχωριστά. Όπως ξέρετε πολλές φορές μετά την γέννα εμφανίζεται επιλόχειος κατάθλιψη. Αν κόψετε τα φάρμακα πιθανά να κάνετε υποτροπή οπότε ο γιατρός θα πρέπει να ζυγίσει την συνήθη απαγόρευση με τους κινδύνους από την διακοπή.

Προφανώς αν το χρειάζεστε θα συνεχίσετε να το παίρνετε κανονικά. Θα κάνετε όλους τους απαραίτητους ελέγχους κατά τη διάρκεια της κύησης και όλα θα πάνε καλά γιατί σπάνια προκαλεί προβλήματα στα έμβρυα.

Καλησπέρα σας. Η παροξετίνη γενικά αποφεύγεται στην εγκυμοσύνη, ειδικά στο πρώτο τρίμηνο, λόγω πιθανών κινδύνων για το έμβρυο. Όμως, η απότομη διακοπή μπορεί να είναι, επίσης, επικίνδυνη για εσάς. Αν είστε σταθερή με το Seroxat και δεν υπάρχει εναλλακτική που να σας ταιριάζει, ίσως χρειαστεί να συνεχιστεί με παρακολούθηση και στη χαμηλότερη δυνατή δόση.
Φυσικά η απόφαση θα πρέπει να προκύψει από την συνεργασία του ψυχίατρου και του γυναικολόγου που σας παρακολουθούν. Ελπίζω να βοήθησα έστω κ στο ελάχιστο.
