He maintains a private practice within the Top Meds Private Multiclinic in Nea Smyrni. He is a graduate of the University of Patras and completed his training at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas," where he subsequently worked as an assistant vascular surgeon. He trained at one of the largest centers for diabetic foot management and vascular access (fistula) in Germany and specializes in innovative endovascular techniques, having performed over 2,000 related procedures on hemodialysis patients in Germany and Greece. He is the head of the Vascular Access Center at Errikos Dunant Hospital, as well as the head of the Vascular Access Department at the 2nd Vascular Surgery Clinic, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at GNA “Laiko” Hospital. Mr. Xatzantonis is the pioneer behind the establishment of the first vascular access center in Greece, recognized by the international Vascular Access Society as a training center for vascular access surgery for hemodialysis patients. Vascular Surgeon Poulakidas Dimitrios is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras. He worked as a rural service physician at the General Hospital of Sparta, at the rural clinic of Pyrgos Dyrrou, and at the Health Center of Areopoli.
