Stelios Xintzoglou MD, FEBU is a Urologist - DaVinci Robotic Surgeon specializing in prostate, bladder, and kidney surgery. He is fellowship trained at the largest Uro-Oncology centers in the United Kingdom over a decade. For the past 4 years, he worked as an NHS Consultant (Director level) before returning to Greece. He has performed and participated in more than one thousand robotic surgeries with a concurrent specialized clinical interest in General Urology, Prostate Hyperplasia, and Lithiasis. He has served as a Robotic Surgery trainer for fellow urologists as well as nursing staff.
Specifically, he specialized at the University College London Hospital (UCLH), ranked 7th among the Best Specialized Urology Hospitals worldwide for 2023 and 2024 according to Newsweek magazine. He also trained at Royal Surrey Hospital, one of the leading robotic pelvic urology centers with the highest case volume in the UK, where he also worked as a Consultant. Additional clinical experience was acquired in Cambridge, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, and Lincoln.
He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and completed his specialty training at Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki in 2014 before relocating to the United Kingdom. In the same year, he obtained the European Board of Urology certification (Fellow of the European Board of Urology, FEBU).
