She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and completed a Master's Degree in Public Health with a focus on Social and Preventive Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Patras. Her thesis addressed childhood obesity. She served as a mandatory rural service physician in Konitsa, Ioannina. She began her pediatric specialty training at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Zakynthos and completed it at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Patras "Karamanadaneio," where she participated in the Endocrinology and Neurology clinics, the Mediterranean Anemia Unit, and the Neonatal Unit. She has also worked as an on-call physician in private healthcare units and as the Chief Medical Officer at recreational facilities and football matches in Ioannina. She was responsible for teaching anatomy, physiology, dermatology, hygiene, and first aid courses at the Vocational Training Institute of the Manpower Employment Organization during 2019 - 2020. Tsitsika Artemis MD, PhD is a Pediatrician and maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi. She was elected Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens and specialized in Pediatrics at the 1st Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia." Subsequently, she received further training in the field of Adolescent Medicine at specialized centers in Greece, Europe, and the USA. She is the founding scientific director of the Adolescent Health Unit (A.H.U.) of the 2nd University Pediatric Clinic at the General Children's Hospital "P. & A. Kyriakou" and the scientific coordinator of the youth-friendly programs of the University of Athens, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). She is responsible for the Ministry of Health's training programs regarding post-Covid-19 effects on children and adolescents and Director of the Postgraduate Program "Strategies for Developmental and Adolescent Health" at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Dr. Chryssoula Driggopoulou is a board-certified paediatrician with extensive clinical experience and specialized training in paediatric nutrition, infectious diseases, and neonatology. She has studied and practiced both in Greece and the United Kingdom, and she remains fully committed to continuous scientific development and delivering high-quality care to children and their families.She completed her specialty training in Paediatrics between 2015 and 2019 at the East of England Deanery in the United Kingdom. She then pursued postgraduate studies in Infectious Diseases and Global Medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace (2019–2021), followed by an MSc in Paediatric Nutrition at Boston University in 2021.Her professional experience began in 2013 at the Medway Maritime Hospital (UK), where she worked in a Level 3 Neonatal Unit. In 2014, she continued at Broomfield Hospital in a Level 2 Paediatric and Neonatal Unit. Since 2020, she has been working as a paediatrician at the General Hospital of Serres in Greece, providing comprehensive care to the children of the region.In parallel with her clinical work, Dr. Driggopoulou has participated in numerous seminars and scientific conferences. She has participated as an instructor in the intradepartmental training program for trainees at Leeds Teaching Hospital, NHS Trust. Dr. Gkouma Viktoria is a Pediatrician with a private practice in Marousi. She holds a medical degree from the School of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized in Pediatrics at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Kastoria, the University General Hospital of Larissa, and the University Pediatric Surgery Clinic in Lausanne, Switzerland (CHUV). She worked as a scientific associate at the University Pediatric Clinic in Mainz, Germany, gaining valuable international clinical experience. She holds a postgraduate diploma in pediatric infections from the University of Oxford. Previously, she worked as a Trainee in Neonatology in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, England, and as a Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist in the Pediatric Department of Great Western Hospital in Swindon, England. Currently, she also works as a Consultant Pediatrician in the Pediatric Department of the 251 Air Force General Hospital and is a member of the Hospital Infection Control Department with an active role in managing the COVID-19 pandemic and a strong research interest. She is a member of the European Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) and has participated in numerous Greek and international conferences. Finally, she has specialized expertise and experience in neonatology, breastfeeding, and pediatric infectious diseases.
