Σήμερα, κατέχει τη θέση του Διευθυντή της Ουρολογικής Κλινικής στο Ιατρικό Κέντρο Ψυχικού και είναι ενεργό μέλος της Ελληνικής Ουρολογικής Εταιρίας καθώς και της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Σεξουαλικής Ιατρικής (ESSM).

Gennimatas" and at Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He is the Deputy Director of the Urology Department at the 251 Air Force General Hospital and handles cases covering the full spectrum of urology. Ο Στρατιωτικός Ιατρός Λιάπης Δημήτριος , Χειρουργός Ουρολόγος - Ανδρολόγος , MD FEBU DIU , Ιατρός της Πολεμικής Αεροπορίας, είναι ο Διευθυντής στην Ουρολογική Κλινική του 251 Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αεροπορίας (251ΓΝΑ) και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Ψυχικό - Ελληνορώσων με πολυετή εμπειρία στην κλινική και χειρουργική Ουρολογία .

Εργάζεται από το 2004 στο 251ΓΝΑ ως Επιμελητής Ουρολογικής κλινικής και από το 2026 κατέχει τη θέση του Διευθυντή της κλινικής.
