Dr. Sofia Genitsaridi is a pediatrician with a private practice based in Glyfada, Athens. She graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Patras.

She completed part of her pediatric residency with a specialization in Neonatology at the University Neonatal Clinic of Aretaieio Hospital, where she received training in neonatal resuscitation, early neonatal care, and the establishment of breastfeeding immediately after birth.

She obtained her PhD from the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating with honors (“Excellent”). Her doctoral dissertation focused on the effectiveness of a personalized model of nutrition, physical activity, and psychological intervention for the prevention and management of childhood and adolescent obesity and overweight. The research was conducted at the Weight Management Center of the 1st University Pediatric Clinic of “Aghia Sophia” Children's Hospital.

Dr. Genitsaridi also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in General Pediatrics – Clinical Practice and Research, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which she completed with distinction.

She worked as a scientific associate at the University Pediatric Clinic in Mainz, Germany, gaining valuable international clinical experience. Upon returning to Greece, she completed her pediatric specialization at the 1st University Pediatric Clinic of “Aghia Sophia” Children's Hospital, where she was trained in diagnosing and managing a wide range of common and rare pediatric conditions. She successfully passed the national board certification exams in Pediatrics.

Currently, Dr. Genitsaridi works as a Scientific Associate at the Pediatric Obesity Center, part of the Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes Unit of the 1st University Pediatric Clinic at “Aghia Sophia” Hospital, and serves as an Attending Pediatrician at the Athens Euroclinic for Children.

She has actively participated in numerous national and international pediatric congresses as both an attendee and invited speaker. Her academic portfolio includes multiple publications in peer-reviewed international medical journals. Dr. Genitsaridi is also certified in Neonatal Life Support (NLS) and has received extensive training in breastfeeding support through various specialized seminars.

Kontogianni Eirini is a Pediatrician with 10 years of experience in managing acute and chronic cases and maintains a private practice in Charilaou, Thessaloniki. She handles the full age spectrum from neonatal to adolescent stages.

She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and since 2021 has been serving as a Pediatrician at the "Agios Loukas" Clinic in Thessaloniki. Upon completion of her medical studies, she worked at the Skiathos Health Center, fulfilling her mandatory rural service. She worked as a resident physician at the General Hospital of Giannitsa, the General Hospital of Piraeus "Tzaneio," and completed her specialty training at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" in Athens. Η Στάμου Σταυρούλα γεννήθηκε, μεγάλωσε και σπούδασε στην Αθήνα. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών της στο Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών μετέβη στην Γερμανία, όπου κι ειδικεύτηκε στην παιδιατρική. Δούλεψε ως ειδικευόμενη στις παιδιατρικές κλινικές τεσσάρων διαφορετικών νοσοκομείων σε διαφορετικές πόλεις του κρατιδίου της Ρηνανίας Βεστφαλίας (Universitätsklinikum Essen, Helios Klinikum Wuppertal, AMEOS Klinik Oberhausen Sterkrade, Helios Klinikum Duisburg) αποκτώντας γνώση και εμπειρία σε όλους τους τομείς της παιδιατρικής και κυρίως στη νεογνολογία και τη διενέργεια υπερήχων. Στη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς της στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg, κέντρο αναφοράς παιδιών με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren ξεκίνησε το διδακτορικό της με θέμα «Η χορήγηση αναισθησίας στα παιδιά με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren: παράγοντες κινδύνου κι επιπλοκές». Το 2018 απέκτησε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας της παιδιατρικής. Συνέχισε να εργάζεται στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg ως επιμελήτρια (Funktionsoberärztin) έως και το 2020. Mpouzios Ilias PhD is a Pediatrician who maintains a private practice in Neo Iraklio. He completed his Doctoral thesis on "Functional gastrointestinal disorders in children and adolescents" at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a postgraduate degree in "Metabolic bone diseases" from the same university. Tomaras Georgios is a Pediatrician and maintains a private practice in Agia Paraskevi. He completed his Pediatrics specialization at the University Clinic of the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia." Since then, he has collaborated in a pediatric practice from 2012 to 2016. Concurrently, he worked with Doctors of the World from 2014 to 2019, both within Athens and across the remaining island and mainland regions of Greece, examining uninsured citizens and refugees. Finally, since 2016, the doctor has been co-located with a Pediatric Dermatologist in a practice located in the Kontopouko area.

Georgia Avrami MD, MSc is a Pediatrician with certified specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology from the German Medical Association of the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Ärztekammer Westfalen-Lippe). She was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Patras through the Panhellenic exams. After completing her studies, she moved to Germany in 2014, where she obtained the German Medical License to Practice (Approbation) and subsequently completed her residency in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. After obtaining the German board certification in Pediatrics in 2020, she continued her specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology at the University Pediatric Clinic of Universitätsklinikum OWL. In 2022, she acquired her specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology following examinations from the German Medical Association of the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Ärztekammer Westfalen-Lippe). Dr. Avrami worked as the coordinator of the obesity department at the University Pediatric Clinic OWL and participated in the education of children with Diabetes Mellitus as well as their parents and teachers. Since January 2023, she has served as head of the pediatric endocrinology department at the largest endocrinology center in Stuttgart (Endokrinologikum Stuttgart). During her time in Germany, she completed her specialization in Childhood Obesity and was certified by the German Obesity Society for Children (AGA). In 2022, Dr. Avrami was certified by the German Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (AG Kinder- und Jugendgynäkologie) as a specialist in pediatric gynecological endocrinology. Simultaneously, she obtained the specialized Diabetology title from the German Diabetes Society (DDG) after examinations.

Giannopoulou Sotiria MD, MPH, IBCLC is a Pediatrician - Internationally Certified Lactation Consultant and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and completed a Master's Degree in Public Health with a focus on Social and Preventive Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Patras. Her thesis addressed childhood obesity. She served as a mandatory rural service physician in Konitsa, Ioannina. She began her pediatric specialty training at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Zakynthos and completed it at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Patras "Karamanadaneio," where she participated in the Endocrinology and Neurology clinics, the Mediterranean Anemia Unit, and the Neonatal Unit. She has also worked as an on-call physician in private healthcare units and as the Chief Medical Officer at recreational facilities and football matches in Ioannina. She was responsible for teaching anatomy, physiology, dermatology, hygiene, and first aid courses at the Vocational Training Institute of the Manpower Employment Organization during 2019 - 2020. She considers it important to continuously expand and validate her scientific knowledge through ongoing training by participating in conferences, seminars, and reviewing international literature. Additionally, she has authored numerous articles and presentations at Greek and international conferences. She holds a medical degree from the School of Health Sciences at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a postgraduate degree in endocrinology and diabetes from Queen Mary University in London. Kyriakou," where she obtained her specialty certification in November 2019. She has been trained in Neonatal Life Support, Basic Life Support and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with Automated External Defibrillation BLS/AED), as well as in Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS). She has experience monitoring routine and emergency cases in children of all ages, having worked in the Pediatric Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital and Euroclinic Children’s Hospital, as well as in the Neonatal Department (Nursery) of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic "Gaia." Finally, she regularly participates in conferences and scientific meetings in Greece and abroad to remain continuously updated on the latest developments in her field.

Syrmou Areti is a Pediatrician and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She maintains a private practice in Metamorfosi. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized in the Second University Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital "P. & A. Kyriakou." Additionally, she is a breastfeeding counselor and specialist in infant and child nutrition through the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition at Boston University School of Medicine, having been trained in malnutrition, obesity, nutritional deficiencies, vegetarian diets, and gut microbiota. She has also received further training in the early detection of pervasive developmental disorders and holds a proficiency certificate for the Standardized Autism Spectrum Disorder Screening Test "pais" as well as neonatal and pediatric resuscitation certification (PEPP). She has particular expertise in Medical Genetics, having worked as a collaborator in the Medical Genetics department at the University of Athens, where she completed her doctoral dissertation. She served as a Consultant in the Pediatric Clinic of Euroclinic Children's Hospital and Leto Maternity Hospital, while also collaborating externally with private clinics (IASO, Mitera, Iatriko, Euroclinic Children's Hospital). Finally, she has numerous publications and presentations in international and Greek medical journals, as well as at Greek and international conferences, has contributed to book authorship, and has received awards from the Hellenic Pediatric Society.
