Pelargidou Maria is a Pediatric Dentist who maintains a private practice in Athens. She graduated from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed a three-year postgraduate program and clinical specialty at Eastman-University College London. Additionally, following her specialization in Pediatric Dentistry, she worked for five years as a Specialist Pediatric Dentist in public clinics, hospitals, and private practices in London. Furthermore, she worked for three years as a dentist for adults with HIV at a specialized HIV Medical Center in London.
She is specialized in treating special needs patients as well as patients with disabilities. She has extensive experience in the use of sedation (nitrous oxide) and is certified for its use in Greece. She also provides treatments under general anesthesia in collaboration with a private clinic.
She has worked as a Specialist External Associate in Elefsina, Ilion, Santorini, and Naxos. Lastly, she has volunteered as a Pediatric Dentist with Doctors of the World, SOS villages, and other volunteer organizations in Greece, England, and Israel.
She is an active member of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Dentistry (HSPD), the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD), and the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD).
