Από το 2005 έως το 2007 εργάστηκε ως Postdoctoral Fellow στο Forsyth Dental Institute του Harvard Dental School. Εκεί ολοκλήρωσει και το Μaster της με κατεύθυνση τη Μικροβιολογία Στόματος.
