Giannis Brokos was born in Athens and graduated from Leonteios Lyceum of Nea Smyrni in 2001. He was admitted to the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which he graduated in 2007. He then specialized in Pediatric Dentistry through the 3-year postgraduate program at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom (2009-2012). He served as a Scientific Associate at the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic of the Dental School of Athens from 2013 to 2016, while since 2012 he has practiced dentistry exclusively in children and adolescents as a partner in Athens and Zakynthos. His scientific interests include behavioral techniques for practicing dentistry in uncooperative children and adolescents. He speaks English and French. He is a member of the Athens Dental Association and the Hellenic Pediatric Dentistry Society, and his articles have been published in Greek and international scientific journals.
Dentist Sofia Panagiotaki has specialization and experience in treating children, having served for 3 years as a Second-Level Consultant at the General Children’s Hospital "Agia Sofia," where she gained experience in managing emergency cases such as dental trauma and dental abscesses, as well as implementing preventive dental care programs for children with complex medical histories. The pediatric dentist uses psychological techniques and specialized vocabulary to explain treatments to the child. The pediatric dental practice is based on preventive dental care. Educating parents on the oral care of their children is the ultimate goal of the doctor, who believes that prevention ensures strong teeth, a beautiful smile, and functional jaws.
