Proestaki Polymnia is a Neuropsychologist (MSc) - Psychotherapist (CBT) and maintains a private practice in Peristeri. She began her studies at the Department of Psychology at the University of Crete. Her interest focused on the correlation between the brain and mental processes. This was the reason she pursued graduate studies in neuroscience. Simultaneously, her passion for sports and her professional involvement in dance (as the owner of a dance school) motivated her to specialize in therapeutic exercise for neurodegenerative diseases.

Moreover, believing that an individual's difficulties extend to their family, she trained in psychoeducation for families of patients with chronic physical and psychiatric conditions.
