Rigos Ioannis is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician with a PhD from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and maintains a private practice in Haidari. He is a graduate of the Medical School of Athens and holds a doctorate from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he completed his dissertation focusing on Assisted Reproduction and his postgraduate studies in "Pathology of Pregnancy." He has received further training in High-Risk Pregnancy and Assisted Reproduction and holds certification in diagnostic colposcopy and cervical pathology. His scientific interests include infertility - assisted reproduction, gynecological endocrinology, benign and malignant diseases of the uterus and ovaries, hysteroscopic/laparoscopic surgery, precancerous lesions of the lower genital tract, HPV, diagnostic colposcopy, high-risk pregnancy, and fertility preservation in gynecological cancer. The physician has many years of clinical experience and collaborates with the largest private gynecological-obstetric clinics in Attica, such as REA, MITERA, LETO, GAIA, and IASO. Additionally, he has an extensive scientific record consisting of presentations at national and international conferences as well as publications in medical journals. Finally, he actively participates in the education and awareness of women through lectures on breast cancer prevention, cervical cancer, menopause, and its disorders in Athens and nationwide, as well as through the provision of free Pap tests, clinical breast examinations, and gynecological examinations at events he organizes and participates in. It is noteworthy that he delivers lectures in secondary schools of the respective areas as part of health education concerning the prevention of gynecological diseases, sexually transmitted infections, cervical cancer prevention, and HPV vaccination.
