Gratsia Sofia DDS, MSc

Gratsia Sofia DDS, MSc is a Specialist Orthodontist (officially recognized specialty by the Central Health Council of the Ministry of Health) and maintains a private practice in Cholargos, also collaborating with the Happy Tooth Clinic in Voula. She was admitted to the Faculty of Dentistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, ranked 1st, receiving an honorary award from the University from where she graduated in 2016.

She commenced her specialization in Orthodontics at the Orthodontics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which she obtained her Postgraduate Diploma, and was awarded the title of Specialist Orthodontist following examinations by the Central Health Council (K.E.S.Y.) of the Ministry of Health. As part of her specialization program, she completed a thesis entitled “Cervical headgear effectiveness in distalizing molars in relation to patients’ compliance,” which was published in the European Journal of Orthodontics.

In addition, she has presented her research at national and international orthodontic conferences and journals. The orthodontist has also participated in other postgraduate training programs in "Craniofacial Radiology with an emphasis on Digital Techniques and Dental Computed Tomography", obtaining the corresponding certification for the use of modern imaging techniques in the craniofacial area.

She is a member of the Hellenic and European Orthodontic Societies.
