Ο Παπουλίδης Νικόλαος είναι Ορθοπαιδικός - Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός, απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής σχολής Ιωαννίνων, με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Μαρούσι και στο Περιστέρι. Ειδικεύθηκε στην Ορθοπαιδική Χειρουργική & Τραυματιολογία στην ΣΤ΄ Ορθοπαιδική κλινική του Γ.Ν.Α "Κ.Α.Τ.", όπου απέκτησε ειδική εμπειρία στη χειρουργική αποκατάσταση καταγμάτων και χρόνιων παθήσεων πηχεοκαρπικής άρθρωσης, στη χειρουργική αποκατάσταση παραμορφώσεων του άκρου πόδα, στη χειρουργική αποκατάσταση του κάτω άκρου (ενδομυελικές ηλώσεις) και σε ιδιαίτερα πολύπλοκα περιστατικά τραύματος. Από το 2015 διατελεί ιατρός αγώνων διαφόρων αθλημάτων. Τον Ιούλιο του 2017 έλαβε το μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών (MSc) με θέμα "Άθληση και Υγεία" και κατεύθυνση Αθλητιατρική, μετά από διετή παρακολούθηση και παρουσίαση διατριβής με βαθμό "Άριστα". Τον Ιούνιο του 2021 έλαβε το μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών (MSc) με θέμα "Αποκατάσταση Βλαβών Νωτιαίου Μυελού. Διαχείριση του πόνου Σπονδυλικής Προέλευσης»", ύστερα από διετή παρακολούθηση και παρουσίαση διατριβής με βαθμό "Άριστα" και είναι εξιδεικευμένος στις αρθροσκοπήσεις με υποτροφία από την Ελληνική Αρθροσκοπική Εταιρεία. Έχει, επίσης, συμμετοχή στην συγγραφή κεφαλαίου με τίτλο "Lateral Antebrachial Nerve Entrapment", στο βιβλίο "Compressive Neuropathies of the Upper Extremity: A Comprehensive Guide to Treatment", το οποίο εκδόθηκε το 2020. Έχει λάβει τις αρκετές διακρίσεις, όπως το ότι κατατάχθηκε 2ος σε εξετάσεις χειρουργικής ανατομίας, υπό την αιγίδα υπό αιγίδα της ΟΤΕΜΑΘ (2017), έχει παρουσιάσει poster με τίτλο "Total knee arthroplasty in patient with alkaptonuria. Case report and review of literature" σε Poster Walk προς βράβευση, στο πλαίσιο του 18ου Ετήσιου Συνεδρίου EFORT (2017) και βραβείο για την εργασία με τίτλο "Αντιμετώπιση τραυματικής αστάθειας στερνοκλειδικής άρθρωσης με τη χρήση ραμμάτων", στο πλαίσιο του 74ου Συνεδρίου Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Χειρουργικής Ορθοπαιδικής & Τραυματολογίας (2018). Τέλος, είναι μέλος των ελληνικών ορθοπαιδικών εταιριών, συγκεκριμένα της Ε.Ε.Χ.Ο.Τ και της Ο.Τ.Ε.ΜΑ.Θ., καθώς και του Αγγλικού Ιατρικού Συλλόγου (G.M.C.) από το 2013.
