Είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρική Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Συνέχισε με το αγροτικό του στο ΚΥ Αγιάς και έλαβε την ειδικότητα του στο Κουτλιμπάνειο και Τριανταφύλλειο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Λάρισας.
