Dr. Zoumpos Ioannis MD, PhD, FEBU is a Urological Surgeon - Andrologist and maintains a private practice in Kato Toumpa, Thessaloniki. He holds a PhD in Urology and graduated with honors from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace, with a postgraduate degree obtained through a scholarship at Yale University, USA, and is a fellow of the European Board of Urology (F.E.B.U.).
He specialized at the Clinic of Genitourinary Organs of the University of Thessaloniki and subsequently, upon receiving a scholarship, joined the Urological Clinic of the University of Nijmegen, Netherlands at the St. Radboud Medical Center, where he gained experience in Andrology and Men's Health, Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Urinary System, as well as Functional Urology and Neuro-Urology.
Alongside his private practice, he holds scientific responsibility for the Urology Department at the Euromedica "Kyaneos Stavros" Clinic in Thessaloniki and the Andrology Clinic of Thessaloniki. He is a member of the Coordinating Committee for Andrology-Infertility of the Hellenic Urological Association, has served as the national contact officer (NCO) for Greece in the European Society of Residents in Urology (ESRU), and is a member of the editorial board of the journal "European Urology Update Series" as well as a reviewer for the prestigious journal "European Urology."
His scientific work is distinguished, including numerous publications and presentations in scientific journals and conferences, published articles in various journals, and appearances on television programs.
His areas of expertise include Erectile Dysfunction and Male Sexual and Reproductive Disorders, Chronic Pelvic Pain and Chronic Prostatitis, Urodynamics and Functional Urology, as well as Endoscopic, Laparoscopic, and Minimally Invasive Urology.
