Dr. Kexagias Aristotelis MD, PhD, FACS is a General Surgeon with subspecialization in Advanced Laparoscopic and Endocrine Surgery, as well as Laser procedures. He graduated with honors as a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds two specialty qualifications (double specialty), one in General Surgery (Athens), and the other in Laparoscopic Surgery of the Digestive System and Endocrine Glands, following further training at the University Hospital of Tampere, Finland. He has received additional training at leading international centers in laparoscopic surgery and thyroid/parathyroid surgery, including the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, UMC Utrecht in the Netherlands, and Rudolfstiftung in Vienna. He underwent advanced training in modern minimally invasive Laser techniques at the Tor Vergata University Hospital in Rome. He is certified in advanced laparoscopic surgery by IRCAD France in Strasbourg. He is a member of numerous Greek and international surgical scientific societies and the American College of Surgeons. He has participated as an invited speaker at many international and national conferences. He maintains a private practice in Agia Paraskevi and performs surgeries at private hospitals in Athens.
