Mpezatis I Thanos is an Ophthalmic Surgeon and PhD holder from the University Eye Clinic of Bonn, with a private practice in Kolonaki. He is a former Consultant and Head of the Oculoplastic Surgery and Cataract Department at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He graduated from the Medical School of Athens in 2008 and completed his full specialization in ophthalmology at the University Clinics of Innsbruck, Austria, and Bonn, Germany. He obtained the European Diploma in Ophthalmology in 2013 and completed his doctoral thesis at the University Eye Clinic of Bonn in 2014. Subsequently, he specialized in cataract microsurgery (Cataract Fellowship) at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He then specialized in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cambridge University Hospital, the State Clinic of Maidstone Hospital, and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, serving as a salaried Clinical Fellow. Finally, he has extensive experience in laser refractive surgeries as well as in aesthetic medical treatment with botulinum toxin for addressing rhytidic aging.
