Dr. Vryonis Giorgos is a Ophthalmic Surgeon, Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Theia Pronoi Hospital "I Pammakaristos" and maintains an ophthalmology clinic in Ampelokipi. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a specialist ophthalmologist with extensive experience in Greece and abroad. Dr. Miraxtsis Theodoros MD, PhD is an Ophthalmic Surgeon - Military Physician and Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the 424 General Army Hospital of Thessaloniki, with a private practice in Thessaloniki. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a graduate of the Military Officers School of Corps (SSAS). He has completed postgraduate studies in Pediatric Ophthalmology and, as part of his doctoral thesis, he is extensively involved in the management of macular diseases (wet and dry age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema or post-thrombotic conditions), with the administration of new anti-angiogenic agents (anti-VEGF) and lasers. Currently, in his fully equipped ophthalmology clinic, he practices across the full spectrum of Ophthalmology with a special emphasis on Pediatric Ophthalmology - Neuro-ophthalmology, the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism with laser techniques (LASIK - PRK - FEMTO-LASIK), especially for candidates of military, police, and merchant marine academies, as well as the treatment of corneal disorders (e.g., keratoconus) using the new Cross-Linking method. Dr Kaiafas Konstantinos MD, FEBO is an Ophthalmologist who maintains a private practice in Patras. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Patras and specialized in Ophthalmology at the Augenärzte OWL Ophthalmological Clinic, one of the largest ophthalmic surgical centers in North Rhine-Westphalia. He received further training in Ophthalmology at the University Ophthalmology Clinic HUG in Geneva and at the University Ophthalmology Clinic Creteil in Paris. He completed a doctoral dissertation on cataract surgery, was awarded a Doctorate and earned the title Dr. med from the Medical School of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Following successful pan-European examinations in Paris, he was certified as a member of the European Board of Ophthalmology and acquired the FEBO title. Finally, he has served as a specialist ophthalmologist - ophthalmic surgeon at the Augenärzte OWL Ophthalmological Clinic in Germany, with expertise in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and refractive surgery.

Ο Λιόλιος Βασίλειος είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στους Αμπελόκηπους. Αποφοίτησε από την ιατρική σχολή του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και το 2008 ξεκίνησε να εργάζεται ως ειδικευόμενος οφθαλμολογίας στο Wirral Teaching Hospital στο Liverpool και μετέπειτα και σε άλλα δημόσια πανεπιστημιακά νοσοκομεία της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας ως και το 2013, όταν και έλαβε τον Τίτλο Ειδικότητας Οφθαλμολογίας. Το ίδιο χρονικό διάστημα ολοκλήρωσε και την εξειδίκευση του στην Παθολογία Αμφιβληστροειδούς και τις Ραγοειδίτιδες (ενδοφθάλμιες φλεγμονές) - Medical Retina and Uveitis Fellowship- στα νοσοκομεία Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Τrust και Western Eye Hospital του Λονδίνου, δίπλα στον καθηγητή Miles Stanford. Κατά την επιστροφή του από την Μεγάλη Βρετανία το 2017, προσέφερε για ένα χρονικό διάστημα τις υπηρεσίες του ως εθελοντής οφθαλμίατρος στην μη κερδοσκοπική οργάνωση PRAKSIS στη Θεσσαλονίκη εξετάζοντας ευάλωτες ομάδες ασθενών με δυσκολία πρόσβασης στις υπηρεσίες υγείας. Τα τελευταία επτά χρόνια εργάστηκε ως επιμελητής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Νέας Ιωνίας «Κωνσταντοπούλειο -Πατησίων» υπεύθυνος ιατρείου βυθού και οφθαλμικών φλεγμονών. Dr. Maria-Irini Kourakou is a practicing ophthalmologist based in Cholargos, Athens. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2004–2010), and later completed a Master’s Degree in Medical Imaging in Ophthalmology at the Democritus University of Thrace (2018–2023).She began her professional career with a clinical residency at Hospital Bellvitge in Barcelona, Spain (2012–2013), gaining valuable experience in a high-level international medical environment. She then completed her specialization in Ophthalmology at Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens (2016–2022), one of Greece’s most prominent teaching hospitals.Dr. Kourakou is a member of the Athens Medical Association (since 2010) and the Hellenic Ophthalmological Society (since 2017). She actively participates in medical congresses and continuing education. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
