Dr. Miraxtsis Theodoros MD, PhD is an Ophthalmic Surgeon - Military Physician and Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the 424 General Army Hospital of Thessaloniki, with a private practice in Thessaloniki. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a graduate of the Military Officers School of Corps (SSAS). He has completed postgraduate studies in Pediatric Ophthalmology and, as part of his doctoral thesis, he is extensively involved in the management of macular diseases (wet and dry age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema or post-thrombotic conditions), with the administration of new anti-angiogenic agents (anti-VEGF) and lasers.
