Η Γιάννακα Βάσω είναι Δερματολόγος - Αφροδισιολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Αισθητική Δερματολογία. Το 2006 εισήχθει στο τμήμα της Ιατρικής στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, όπου και το 2012 ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές της. Ακολούθησε η έναρξη της ειδικότητας της (του γενικού τμήματος) στην Παθολογική Κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Λευκάδας για ενάμιση χρόνο. Συνέχισε με το ειδικό κομμάτι της δερματολογίας σε κλινικές της Γερμανίας όπως την Borkum Riff Klinik (ειδίκευση στις χρόνιες παθήσεις του δέρματος όπως ατοπική δερματίτιδα, ψωρίαση), καθώς και την Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική Hautklinik στο Johannes Wesling Klinikum στο Minden  (ειδίκευση στο καρκίνο δέρματος). Λαμβάνοντας τον τίτλο  της  ειδικότητας, δερματολογίας αφροδισιολογίας ξεκινά ως ειδικός Δερματολόγος το 2019 στο ιατρείο Skin Center Cassel στο Kassel της Γερμανίας με ένα ευρύ φάσμα εφαρμογών laser, καθώς και θεραπειών της αισθητικής δερματολογίας όπως εφαρμογές βοτουλινικής τοξίνης, υαλουρονικού οξέος, μεσοθεραπείας, εφαρμογές νημάτων. Τα τελευταία τέσσερα χρόνια είναι υπεύθυνη ενός Πολυιατρείου  το MVZ Haut und Allergie στο Bielefeld, όπου καλύπτεται όλο το φάσμα της δερματολογίας όπως την κλασική δερματολογία, δερματοχειρουργική, αφαίρεση καλοήθων βλαβών και κακοήθων βλαβών του δέρματος, εφαρμογές Laser, καθώς και θεραπείες αισθητικής δερματολογίας.
